    Asus Strix G513QR logo appears, then only the backlight stays on

    Asus Strix G513QR-HF016
    Motherboard: G533-MP-GBM, 6050A3250202-MB-A01

    The motherboard powers on, the Strix logo appears, then only the backlight stays on — it does not enter the BIOS and hangs at that stage.
    The laptop arrived with a broken screen and a damaged display cable.

    Actions performed:
    • New BIOS dumps have been flashed
    • A new Ryzen 7 CPU was soldered in (tested with two different units), but the issue remains the same with both
    • Tested with a different display cable and screen
    • No missing components or visible damage on the motherboard; no components show abnormal heating under thermal imaging
    • Power draw remains at 2.2A; USB flash drive blinks briefly and then stops
    • After that, only the screen backlight remains on
    • Disabling the RTX 3070 GPU makes no difference
