HP Pavilion x360 Convertible (14-cd0048TX) Graphic Conversaion Discrete to UMA
The problem when I received this for repair was that the display would turn white and the computer would completely freeze when in use.
When this happens, there would also be a loud noise from the speaker.
To get the computer to work normally again, you need to turn it off for about an hour.
The problem only occurs when the computer is being used for some task. Otherwise, it would take a long time for the problem to occur if it was left on.
I updated the BIOS but it did not work.
When it turned off and then on again, the Caps Lock LED gives a code of three long flashes and five short flashes.
The two GPU power supply coils marked in this image are overheating.
I removed the two power supply coils to convert this to UMA. But even after doing so, the display does not turn on.
How do I convert this to UMA correctly?
