I'm writing to ask for help on my Lenovo Slim 7i laptop. The model number is 14IMH9 and the machine type is 83D80003US. About two weeks ago a BIOS update for this laptop failed and the laptop has been stuck in a boot loop with black screen ever since. Now when I press the power button, the keyboard lights come on and the fan starts running. However, the screen remains black. The laptop shuts off and reboots automatically after ~1 minute then repeats the whole process again until I forcefully shut it down by long pressing the power button.

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

As the title suggests I broke a motherboard and I'm trying to figure out how or if can fix it. This board has a WSON-8 Bios chip with a 1.8V . In a great moment of learning I fried the chip before I could pull the original bios image from the chip. I bought the same exact Bios chip and programmed it using the most recent bios file from MSI's website. After re-soldering it to my motherboard nothing happens no debug lights or postcodes. I have since tried reloading the most recent bios and an older bios version that matched what was on the motherboard when purchased it but nothing has worked. Currently...

I've got an HP ProDesk 600 G5 Desktop Mini with an i5-9600T with vPro / AMT. I updated its BIOS one day via the UEFI interface (not in Windows) and I presume the update failed. The PC would sit with its power LED on solid white, no output. Unpacking the BIOS provided by HP to a USB and booting with Windows-V or Windows-B pressed didn't help with anything.

Therefore, I got a CH341A flasher. The PC has a 16MB BIOS (GD25B127DSIG) and a 32MB EC chip (GD25B256DFIG).
