Hey people.
So my boy broke his old laptop and I got him a new store return for a great price.
Problem is that it has had the motherboard replaced and the technician didn't fix the model type in bios (not serial either so no windows license) just say's alderlake. Now the software to control the laptop checks the model type in bios to install so that's a problem.
I did some research and tried to edit the information but with no luck. Would the correct approach be to dump the complete bios and hex edit the info then reflash? Is there an easier approach? I know Acer has some tool but I can't get my hands on it.
