Hp 15 capslock 5 long 3 short pb.

hp 15 -da009nk ...la-g07cp.

got this lap with capslock 5 long 3 short.
Try new dump f.48 still the same.
try another dump f.04 power on..no display..consumption 0.498..no caps lock blinking.
all voltage are présent.
pl301/302= 3 and 5 volt.
pl1001 1.082v.
pla1 1.033v
plz1 vcc core 1.058v
plg1 0v..i think it s the Intel grpahic
plw1 1.373v.
plv 3/plv4 vga core 0.918v
consumption 0.498.
original bios version f.02..
any help!

Consumption is same with ram/without ram?

Have you checked 2.5V rail is present or not?

Ram reset checked?

Communicated on SDA/SCL pins of ram slot checked?

Ram slot pins failure is quite common on this mb-so check under microscope.

YES same consumption with or without ram = 0.480 V
2.5 v is present
No ram reset , RC32 1.2V from 1 side
pin 108 ram slot = 0.057v and 0.831 KOHM
CD92 not exist
So the DDR_DRAMRST# is not present

i can t take if SDA/SCL communicate or not

anything else to check !

You dont have DSO? If yes, measure atlest voltage on SDA/SCL pins.

Have you tried touching up the ram slot pins?

I beleive you tried another ram stick and bios flash.

yes don t have dso
Clk and data have both 3.4 v
Yes i change ram and bios..with a New Virgin bios consumption don t reach 0.280 amp and no capslock blinking..
yes i make a heavy press at ram and ram slots no change

Very very likely its SOC fault.
