Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. I am having life issues. My thinking isn't great. I have about lost everything I have now. 8 months out of work with 9 surgeries on my dominant arm. Now I have to learn to do everything g only left-handed.

I just need to get this laptop back going if possible. It got liquid spilled on it. I took it apart and cleaned it with 91% alcohol and Q-tips.

The PCW29 diode? Was broken off the board when I took it apart. I am not sure where to get this part from as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I hope it can be fixed as I really need it now.

I guess my biggest problem is the name of it and the correct model number. I apologize for this. I just don't want to make a mistake.

After all my recent surgeries, I am just terrible at general conversations. I honestly do not know what this chip is called or the proper voltage or specs. Can anyone help me out or push me in the right direction? I will try to look at the links that were posted shortly. I am just slow now. I am sorry and apologize to everyone for this.

Everything should work without this component. It capacitor 560 mF 2v.

Okay, I will put it back together and try it. I thought it was the main power raiL component.

I put it back together and it shows the blue light after I hit power for 6 seconds then shuts off.
Where do I need to post to get this sorted out?

I will also look at the board view in a few minutes. Maybe I can find the fuse location and check it as well.


Does anyone know why the box is white that I am typing in? I can't see anything doing it like this.
