Need help Asus x512d power on black screen

      So Bios is ok. 5v and 3.3v rail ok..and you can turn on and off the laptop with all the main voltage present. the processor warm up when on. The only problem is the display is blank, no video on external monitor. visual inspection first top and botton of the mobo and then try to run the system with bare minimum. try to power the motherboard only and place an external monitor to isolate it from the rest. try to boot it. make sure to place the heatsink and fan as AMD is known to heat up fast. Maybe an attachment is malfunctioning.. the LVDS cable is shorting or maybe the battery or wifi card. a corroded connection burnt parts.. In my experience with this kind of problem the bios is my only suspect.. heheheh

        No display can be for N number of reasons and bios corruption is only one of them. No amount of disconnecting peripherals etc will yeild result as long as DRAMRST# is pulled low.

          the only thing left is disable the on board ram , and i can't find any thing online . do you have any idea how to do it on that model ?
