Dell XPS 13 9310 2 amber 4 white memory failure

    I have this laptop a dell XPS 13 9310
Power on is ok, stuck at dell logo flashing 2 amber and 4 white (link dell service manual) 2,4 Memory or RAM (Random-Access Memory) failure

I believe this is the spec from using micron tool to decode marking

I am thinking to replace but wondering if there is a possibility to test while in circuit to find the faulty module? I am doubting there is any reasonable test possible while in circuit as most ram ICs I have tested previously, I have done while off board / removed.

Another possibility is to remove 2x of the ICs. I do not know how many are faulty or which specifically have failed. The service tag for this laptop states 32GB ram so maybe if there is only 1x failed IC I can remove 2 and run with 16GB ram.
The modules are placed from left to right UD4, UD3, UD2, UD1, what configuration would be best to remove for this test? e.g. UD4 and UD2 or UD4 and UD3 etc? I think the memory is dual channel and it would be best to leave ram on the same channel in situ? My knowledge is not the best here.

Otherwise, if there is no luck removing I will replace the ram ICs.
D9ZCL from micron decoder returns this however they are quite expensive and hard to find. Would it be possible to replace with a very close alternative with lower density like D8FCW this. Every specification is the same apart from density and D8FCW is in production so much cheaper to buy?

    Thanks
