ASUS TUF566HM No Power PCH hot ! (FX506HM) DA0NJHMBAH0 REV H

Hello friends,


A nice TUF laptop not starting, when i press power button LED POWER up and stay up, no fan spinning nothing more, juste charge LED and Power LED.

I reflash bios and replace SIO, no changes...
I didn't notice first but PCH is heating a lot and nothing else. (complete description on boardivewer C.S FH82HM570 B1 FCBGA943//INT TGL HM570 SRKMA/99AC55)

I check my voltage and...
....
RSMRST# ok
DNBWON# ok
The first voltage missing is SLP_S4# 😥

Maybe PCH is dead, I need some advice please.
How can I confirm this? Do I need a bga machine to replace PCH or my QUICK 8610 hot air station will do the job?
And last one where do you sources your PCH?

I have same problem with my Lenovo Ideapad. Only PCH is getting hot. Also, SLP_S4 Is the first voltage missing.

You have a faulty PCH, or PCH have a crached solderball under it. You can try to inject 3.3v on the SLP_S4 and if laptop powers on then its just a cracked ball and you can bypass it with a wire, but if no then PCH have to be replaced.
