Hi guys. Bringing up the old repair.
HP Pavilion 14-ek0106TU i5-1235U onboard RAM
Symptoms: When power plugged - white LED is on, when battery connected - the battery is charging.
Pressing power button - it lits but nothing happens. When lit pressing and holding 5-6 sec - it turns off.
Voltages: BIOS 3.3v presented when power button is pressed.
Powered off: Nothing is on except 1.2v
Powered on: 1.8v, 3.3v, 5v, 13v comes to cpu driver mosfets.
Resistance is measured after the coils. I couldn't find the PCH rail though (is that 19 ohm? too low?)
I made the cpu thermal when power button is pressed. PCH looks suspicious. But I cannot find 1v rail that feeds it.
