    Acer Nitro shorted PCH doesnt Boot an517-52

    Hello, after changed the shorted PCH Hm470 the Notebook have good value in the cool. Blue light comes on once U Press Power but nothing more Happening.

    It have before a short on one Cap near the ALC Soundchip. I fixed the shorted Cap.
    BIOS and EC BIOS are also new but still nothing Happening.
    CPU has No Short.
    Orderd a new alc295 can it BE that the Sound IC is Not good and thats why IT doesnt start.
    There is also Missing a inductor near the 19,5v Port but IT should still Boot without it.

            You can just de solder the sound IC and see if it posts. Sound IC is not needed for mb to post.
            However you have not shared any info about resistance to GND and voltage on all coils Neither you've shared the m/b markings-so simply not possible to suggest anything meaningfull.
