BA733S IC replacement

Hi, I have this laptop, when I connect the power adapter to it, the green light on the power adapter starts blinking rapidly. PSU is known good.

I noticed this BA733S IC gets burning hot within seconds of plugging the laptop in - and so it is my suspect for the fault.
I was unable to find any info on this IC, let alone finding a replacement for it. Any clues?
Btw, that electrolytic cap is just a temporary, that cap was missing when I got the laptop, didn't have 47uF 25V SMD on hand.

see the dot on the chip?
that`s pin 1, pin 4 its gate.
test the chip in diode mode 1,2,3 to 5,6,7,8 and back(change the probe position)

to have good readings on it i suggest to take it of

you are looking at the wrong part of the ic, its not BA733s, its AO4407 that you are looking at

Power supply is blinking rapidly because it can sense a short circuit. I would start by looking nearer the power jack and checking for shorts there first.
