Hello friends, it's been a while.
Model A2141 came to me for repair.
I confirmed that there was a short in the ppdcin line and that the capacitor was blown.
All the short line capacitors seemed to be in bad condition, so I replaced all c7043, c7024, c7026, c7027, c7029, and c7042.
The short is caught and the power is turned on.
However, when the power is turned on with the battery installed, only one charging port works and the other three display 20V but 0 amps.
If you plug in the charger when the battery is not installed or it is completely turned off, the amperage goes up and then drops back to 0 amps.
I tried initializing dfu and replacing u7000.
It's the same even if you replace q7030, q7040, or q7065
I replaced u2890 and also replaced ub090.
Extracted from living a2141 rock product and used
And I didn't find any shorts around any of the 4 cd3217 chips, but I may have missed something.
I'm thinking of replacing the u7800. Does anyone have any good ideas?
The port where the charger is normally used is located in the upper right corner when looking at the MacBook from the front.
