HP pavilion 15-n038so no blue led light on dc jack

    board: daou92mb6do rev d
    model: 15-n038so

After press power button 3x blinks on dc jack. If i remove bios chip nothing happens. Tried few bios bins, result is same.

Have old bios, included here, schematics, board, and pictured of mb. [MOD EDIT] Link to schematic/boardview --> https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ded#post893026

I have ec chip voltages on picture.

Iam pretty exhausted, any suggestion will be good.

What is the history of the laptop?

Review the 2 x dcin mosfets and the charger ic. Does the adapter voltage reach the main power rail? If not then the dcin mosfets and power rail resistance checks should be made. No power during resistance checks.

I have only motherboard. Bought 20x mb from local market.
Mosfets ok, charger ok. Yes adapter giving voltage. Resistance is ok on all coils. No power when measure right.
Ima thinking about it8528e/hx what pins need to be high or low before AC_LED_ON#

p.s. original bios added [MOD EDIT] Bios requests go here --> https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-requests-only

Are you using a genuine HP adaptor or bench supply? I often get HP's where the jack light won't come on with my universal charger setup, but work fine with HP adaptor. Not every HP does this, just some models.

Yes iam aware of that problem, using HP adapter middle pin is 18,5V then after connect to mb voltage drop to 0.52v , further going to ad_type in ec chip pin 71 voltage is 0.6v. I think this is ok but maybe i`am wrong. I did re-check right now.

Share the voltage to ground of the following pins on PU2 (charger IC) with the power adapter connected:

            REGN (pin 16)
            ACDRV (pin 4)
            ACN (pin 1)
            ACPRES (pin 5)

Maybe i should measure resistance a cross main rails and calculate current coz i have maximum current ratings in schematics. Maybe ocp preventing regulators to give voltage, and 3 blinks meaning that mb trying 3 times to power up.

I've never seen a quanta U92 with a working APU these days. this APu tends to fail-so first check whether APU is alive or not. However, the dc jack light blink is usually AD_ID issue or bios problem.
