    Sorry now I don't understand, there is no pq printed anythere or??

    I was able to get 3.54V on one pin on that ISL chip.

      looks like a short on 5v rail
      so next task is even more complicated

      the pq34 must be removed and see if that 000 disappears
      if not the isl6237 must be removed and measure again
      if not then is even more complicated .

      if you have the skills and you have an hot air gun then try it

        I did get more voltages on the left side (in that picture) there was 3.5V and I think even 5V. There was also 19V and after that I apprently f**ked up and the was a spark so is this as good as junk now?

        And because I cannot do any surface mount soldering I think my skills and equipment are not enough to fix this. I was hoping that the problem would have been in the bios battery connector or DC IN board.

            I do have hot air gun but.. did those sparks already kill that ISL ?
