    Macbook A2141 820-01700 no image

    Hello! A little liquid got onto the 8500 connector, which led to a short circuit in the EDP_INT_AUX_N line in the U9850 Click image for larger version

ID:	3297813 and I took it from this board and replaced it! (maybe they are not interchangeable? Tell me, otherwise the markings on them are different but according to the scheme they are identical)! I checked the display works on A1707. The cable was replaced and installed from A1707. (as I understand, on A2141 you can install a cable from A1707-A1990, but not vice versa). MacBook works with external display!

        Check the voltage to ground of LCD_MUX_SEL.

        Check the voltage to ground of LID_OPEN_SMC_IN. Open the lid of the laptop -> measure this voltage.

          Are these chips interchangeable?
          LCD_MUX_SEL=53,3kohm(diod mode=1.107)
          LID_OPEN_SMC_IN=47.7kohm( diod mode=0.426)

            The part is pin for pin and appears to be only a standard MUX (multiplexer). I would conclude yes.

            Requested the voltage to ground measurements (not resistance / not diode mode). We are checking if the logic levels (voltage) are present for the requested pins that select A or B side of the mux to the output.

              I apologize for the misunderstanding!
              LID_OPEN_SMC_IN=1.8 v
              LCD_MUX_SEL=0v ((board on the table, display not connected) is this voltage present without a connected display?

                        it was not easy! but I measured the voltage with the display connected.

                                Does this logic board work with an external display? Use a type C dongle with a HDMI port for testing.

                                Does the caps key LED toggle?

                                What is the current & voltage draw when the unit is powered by an external adapter? Need to confirm if the logic board is working or not.

                                          I have Macbook Pro 16" 2019, model number A2141, motherboard number 820-01700. I have some problem with dedicated graphic card. When Macbook switches to dedicated GPU it is getting instantly hot and starts to show glitches on screen, then it freezes (trackpad is not clicking anymore) and shuts down.
                                          I tried to reinstall MacOS But it was a pain, it started to show glitches in middle of installation and I could not finish it. I only was able to reinstall MacOS when I put Macbook outside (it is winter and -2 Celcius).

                                          Now situation looks like this, If...

                                          Hello there

                                          I have problem with Macbook Pro 15" 2017, model 2017, MB code 820-00928.

                                          I bought it as broken with some artefacts on the screen, first I thought that this is problem with ribbon cable but after inspectiing ribbon cable I know it is fine. I tried to reinstall macOs and then I figured out that this must be something with GPU as installation freezes at the end (when drivers are loaded). I installed Windows and was able to install every each of drivers except GPU driver, as soon as I tried to install GPU driver - black screen and restart.

                                          Hi,

                                          I'm having an issue with an A1707 MacBook Pro—there's no audio output. Initially, the MacBook came in with a no-power problem, and I found a faulty U6400, which I've now replaced. The laptop now powers on, but there's still no sound.

                                          I've also replaced U6300, but the problem persists.

                                          Here are the current voltage readings:

                                          • R6403: 1V
                                          • AUD_SPKRAMP_RESET_L: 1.3V
                                          • PPBUS: 12.6V
