Thanks for advice, it turned out to be a low resistance DC cable issue at both customers and my chargers. Board worked fine with a new charger.

Check PR1 for exact 33 ohms. Since the psid/vout pins wete soldered in a wrong way,SIO could be damaged as well if the protection diodes are not soldered from factory.

The 3v3 voltage is correct and originates from the EC's GPIO pin. The 1-wire bus master (EC) pulses this line and the energy from the toggling high / low also powers the 1-wire ID device that is implanted inside of the Dell adapter.

1) Confirm the Dell power adapter is (power rating) suitable for this laptop.
2) Confirm the center pin of the Dell power adapter is not bent. Be sure it is mating with the logic board's power connector. Another case from yesterday had a bent ID pin inside of the power adapter. The ID pin is the center needle like pin.
3) Always share exact voltage measurements. Post the values for the voltage to ground of PQ1 and PQ2. Based on the fact that you have 3v3 at the drain, then PQ2 is most likely ok but let everyone review this case.

This unit came in with a prior charger repair attempt. Previous place replaced chargers cable but connected ID pin to Vout pin and Vout to ID pin and caused PSID pin circuit failure
Laptop post with "The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined" message.
in quick viusal inspection PSID circuit seems normal, PQ1 and PQ2 measures good, but I read 3.3V on PQ1 drain with or without ID pin connected, there shouldn't be 3.3v when ID pin is not connected am I right ?
Guidance an references will be appreciated.
