Small update, q7260 has burnt out when I plugged in the battery so either something on the battery circuit has caused it or this was faulty or maybe even u7201 I don't know. Have to call this done for now.

Charger is 60w
ive actually not checked pp5v_s3 (can't see reg) but this is 0v
pp5v5 is at 4.99 so close is .6 in tolerance?

Is the problem with PP5V_S3_REG or PP5V5_CHGR_VDDP?
Are you using an 85W charger BTW?

Someone is pulling the 5 volt line down. Remove all power. Check the resistance to ground of the 5v rail that is reading at 4v7.

Macbook 820-3330 no power or charging
Hi guys, how are you all?
I have a MacBook 820-3330 with no power and need a little help please.
I have the original charger that supplies 16v but doesn't light up at all. I also have a USB C charger and converter that does light up and provides 19v.
Both give me a 12v on board and i have 3.3v.
I have 5 volt but its at 4.7v.
I have 1 voltage that isnt present but dont know if this comes after power on, this is q7220 pins 6,7,8 0v, doesnt seem to have any switching voltages going in from u7201.
I will give you some readings that I have and we can go from there.
Thanks in advance.
F9700 12v both sides
BKL_EN is 0v (not sure again if present before power on)
F7040/F7041 good
U6900 3.3 in and out
This is all i can think of atm.
Thank you JohnTags: None
