    MacBook A1706 Touch ID

They brought the MacBook after another service and the touch ID doesn't work, and it's not surprising because the cable is broken. How to get out of this situation so that the touch ID works? who did it? I'm still thinking about repairing the cable, but it's not clear where the information is stored, on the cable or in the sensor itself?

My understanding is that the fingerprint sensor button holds the secret ID.

I was confused by the chip on the WX 5wE cable. what is his task? if information about the sensor is stored in the case itself under the glass surface, then the cable can be easily replaced?!

What I realized is that I don't have enough magnification on the microscope to repair touch id cables 😭😭😭😭😭

the easiest way is to transfer a T1 chip from a tachid from another board? What do you think?

I replaced the T1, but it's not clear which button is on which body! and here's the question I have: if I install the system and the button doesn't fit, it gives an error! If I just change buttons, will T1 see its own button or do I need to completely reinstall the system for each button?

please tell me the touch ID is tied to T1 or to some other chip?
