Hello! In this case I have an HP with motherboard DAG7HAMB8F0 rev F. The laptop powers on and shows video on an external display, but not on the internal screen. There is no image / no backlight.

I have checked and I do have 3.3 V at the display connector. There is also no short circuit at the display connector. I have checked the 3 V and backlight fuses and they are OK.

What I can’t understand from this schematic is that I cannot find the backlight boost circuit. According to the schematic, this display works with the same VIN supply, which passes through a fuse and...

For a while I was able to fix everything by myself but this my first A1706 MacBook Pro and I'm a little lost.

Basically : I get an image. When shining light on the display I can clearly see the apple logo and recovery OS. but zero backlight.
Connector looks fine, and doesn't look like flexgate.
Camera connector was a little corroded but nothing too bad.

I probed a few rails around the backlight IC :

PPBUS_G3H : 13V
PPVIN_S0SW_LCDBKLT_F : 13V
PPVIN_S0SW_LCDBKLT_R : 13V
PPVIN_S0SW_LCDBKLT : 0V and not shorted....

A friend gave me this Baykunl D80 DRO (Digital Readout) he uses for a lathe/milling machine. The LCD stopped working, shows no image or color whatsoever, but the backlight works.

When you power up, sometimes you can see a brief image but for like 1ms then it goes black. That kinda tells me the LCD is actually good and the issue lies elsewhere.

The board has:

• 1x ST STM32F103VET6 Micro-controller
• 1x RAIO RA8876LN4 LCD controller
• 1x Winbond W9864G6KH-6 SDRAM
• 1x Winbond W25Q128JV Serial Flash Memory
• 1x ATMEL ATMLH834 EEPROM

This chinese all in one computer gives an image when connected to an external vga monitor but only the backlight with integrated monitor (no image). Initially I thought it was an edid problem on the eeprom of the screen but then I saw that the monitor works correctly with another identical motherboard (model th410-d4, read by bios). Unfortunately the motherboard is chinese and has no brand or codes on the pcb. The format seems ITX. Nothing can be found online. The official yashi site provides drivers but not the bios. The electrical diagram is obviously unobtainable

I have a Macbook Pro A2442 with the 820-02098 from a friend which has no picture on the display, however, the backlight works.
He was streaming a football match on a questionable site, then the site crashed, and the problem emerged.
