No +VCORE in acer TravelMate TMP2510

    Hi everyone
I have a problem with this laptop that won't turn on.
The +VCORE is not present and doing some measurements on the ISL95859 I notice this:

    VIN present 19.5V
    VCC present 5V
    VR_ENABLE present 3.3V
    PWM_A present 2.5V
    FCCM_A not present
    PWM1_B present 2.5V
    PWM2_B present 2.5V
    FCCM_B not present
    PWM_C present 0.32V
    FCCM_C present 5V

In these conditions should the ISL95859 works and therefore enable the FCCM_A and FCCM_B pins or do I have to check other lines for it to be enabled?
    Maybe the ISL95859 is dead?
I add the very very similar schematic

    Thank you

Sorry, but when I power on it the enable are 3.3v and when a power off the enable is 0v.
I don't think the problem is bios and the cpu too becouse, vcore there isn't so the cpu not work

Whether vr ready is 3.3V, CPU damage may also cause no vcore

Someone can suggest me to try to replace ILS95859 or will it be useless?

A1466 820-00165 fan spin, no chime vcore present
                  by willumpie82
                  Hi all,

I'm working on a rabbit-hole again, I have a 820-00165 board that has not been damaged (no liquid or other nasty stains).
It came with the story that it runs but freezes randomly, when we looked at it at first it came to the disk selection and then frozen now it won't display or chime at all. I removed the SSD and wifi and inserted a USB drive, no changes.

So opened it up removed the battery and when powering it on it gets fan spin but no chime and no image, looks brain dead to me...

on visual inspection the board looks mint

                  I...

Rx580 8gb sapphire nitro+ turn off vcore randomly
                  by mikzs
Hello, this is my first post, English is not my native language but I hope you understand me. I recently got a 580 that didn't turn on the typical short mosfet, as I didn't know exactly which one was short, I unsoldered them until I got the bad one out, I was able to remove the short and identify the bad mosfet, the gpu gives video again! but it has a problem that completely turns off vcore at random times or if I try to put a load on the gpu vcore drops to 0 I don't have much idea why because I don't know much about sapphire, any advice on where I could start looking or what problem it could...

GTX1060 not working, Vcore down to 0.3V
                  by stephtech
                  Hi,
Need some help as I am struggling with this GPU.
It is an Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB

Current problem when I received the board (I do not know previous history), device manager show error code 43. GPU-Z show UNKNOW in Bus Interface (PCIe speed), no display. GPU-Z show all the infos for the board, only unknown for the bus interface.

                  Steps I took:

1- Disassembled the gpu and physically inspected everything on the board. No missing components, no shorts, no burnt marks, all looks normal. No open 0 ohms resistors.

                  2- connected...

N551JM - cold CPU , CPU vcore present
                  by magneh
                  Hi!

ive been trying to figure out this Asus N551JM mobo problem.

The motherboard turns on by herself when I supply 19V with PS.
Goes directly to 390 mA , and rises a bit to 410 mA 1 min after or so.

All VCC signals are present, CPU vcore 1.7V etc
NVidia GPU warms up, but what surprises me is that the CPU does not get hot at all. The 3 coils of CPU VCC are warm, but not CPU.

Measured a bit and taking a look at the repair guide I came to the signal H_CPUPWRGD who is 1.07V
I was expecting a signal around 3V, but not...

Evga Gtx 1080 vmem but no vcore
                  by floodster1
I have an Evga 1080 for repair.
There was a short on the 12v and a burn hole in the bottom stage of the vcore.
I cleaned it out and the short is gone.
Iv checked all the resistance on the minor rails and there good.
                  Voltages are.
                  12v
                  3.3v
                  5v
                  1.8v
                  Vcore 0v
                  Vmem 1.3v
                  Pex 16mv
I thought you need to have vcore or pex before vmem would turn on so it leaves me a bit confused.
Iv looked at the vcore ic NCP81274 and I get
                  Enable 1.8v low?
                  Vcc 5v
                  Vref 2v
                  Pgood 0v
                  I did some digging...
