Wanted to update, it seems it doesn't power on anymore now, no water spill nothing, stays at 5.118Volts and .006amps. sometimes coming to .011 amps. I wonder if the battery could be the issue? -

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable to reset the computer. I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work anymore. Clearly the patch corrupted this computer, and it looks like it needs a fresh DFU restore. However, lol, I cannot even get it to stay on once I plug in the USB C meter.
Update: I take that back, this computer just turns off after 1 min and then won't turn on again, it looks like it is the same symptom as another MacBook Pro 14" we have in stock we cannot figure out. Same exact issue it looks like.Last edited by Stephen; 03-15-2024, 09:51 AM.

My MacBook boots up with a dim backlight and a blurry Apple logo, but then the screen goes dark and displays no image. Has anyone else encountered this problem? MacBook Air turns on without battery connected, no green or orange light comes on, I connect the battery and it shows battery with lightning and it restarts constantly.

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I have similar a similar issue. My A2179 Macbook Air turns ON and works normally with a battery but it is not charging. With the USC-C alone it takes 20V but only 100mA, PPBUS is 12.3Volts, and wont turn ON.
I replaced U7000 twice with the same result. not charging!
