    Panasonic CF-20

    Hello everyone,
I'll come back with that. I started here but it wasn't the right place
because it's not a bios or password problem

I have tried several bios here, none have worked so far

I think it's dead, even the USB key died at the same time as the computer.
Just the lights power and beep when it turns off

    News:
I noticed that the motherboard boots when the screen is unplugged.
If I connect HDMI or LCD, the motherboard no longer triggers any reaction.
On the other hand, if I unplug the screen and the HDMI, the keyboard responds with caps lock and activity on usb key.

The backlight works if I force it. Pwm LED 0v and enable 3.3v LED.
I don't think the screen has a problem

I think I should look into display management around the PS8407A or CPU
    what do you think?

    Are there any diagrams?
    Thanks

    edit: PS8407A /1629B/ wg1219lm remplaced same
if I connect after boot HDMI, it does not restart after a ctrl alt del

the first mentioned above and another that did nothing just consumption and no reaction.
I exchanged several components to see the reactions?

    Now, both cards work,
I noticed a lack of solder on 2 chips and I reflowed this area.

the first time, I thought it was heating up the processor and I was lucky thanks to the reflow.
    but did not last.
so I have reflow only it's 2 chips.

The 1st card worked again (the one that did nothing)
I then on the 2nd (starts only without screen).
    it also works again now!

Is this a stroke of luck or will it hold?? to see over time

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
      by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
      by Alicat
      Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

      Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
      by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
      by smic717394
      Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
