dell inspiron L502X NO POWER

hello,
i have a dell insp l502x board no quanta DA0GM6C i have only stdy voltage +3.3v coming from tps51427 dc/dc the +5v is absent due to alw_on signal not there.i have checked the 3.3v login power on no problem there changed the micom ite8518e. I have doubts with the ec bios can anyone upload the dump for it.also does the ALW_ON come from the micom after power switch pressed or it is present always.anyone faced power issue with this laptop. pls helpp

i have the same computer with bios password . i can upload the ec dump . will do it tomorrow but i need also yours (4Mb spi rom dump and 512kb ec dump)

now for your faulty board notice that the ALW_On is always present when you plug the adapter . before pressing the power switch button you must get 3.3v and 5v . i think if you don't have 5v you must check arrond coil if there are no short or the tps51427 is dead

okay that good pls can you click a good photo around the ite8515 as i think someone have removed some resistors. so i can see if any missin parts.

have already screw the lapy. but notice that only with battery the alw_on signal come after tou press the power switch button . but with adapter the alw_on signal is already present when you plug it

first check ONLDO signal pin4 of tps51427 onldo=+PWR_src*(pr122)/(pr121+pr122)

then check LDO signal pin7 of tps 51427 LDO=+5v_ALW2

the LDO signal activate +3.3_en1 an +5_en2 to provide +3.3v_ALW and +5_ALW

Hi i have replaced the tps51427 also a new micom ic.i get all the voltages accept the +5v alwp.will check if there is a short in the 15v-alw.will check tomo anyhow
