no i just use diferent drivers , Omega Drivers , Amilo pi 2530 , and others.. but nothing... I will move to windows 7 32bit. I think that my problem will fix... there is no support for hd2300 for windows xp laptops...

I stopped being lazy and did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit GR.

Nearly every device was recognized by the OS. For the rest I could use the Vista drivers from Fujitsu Siemens site (they haven't released drivers for Win 7).

It really feels like new now. Without Scenic's help that laptop would be useless and I would like to thank him for that.

I think I have the same problem with your own PC.
I ask which card you bought and how much did you pay?
and where I might find it in Italy?

Hi,

it seems to have the same problem with goodpsusearch.

My laptop Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xi 2428 boots normally but there is no video on the screen (except bios where the screen has been split into 6 pieces )
but When connected to an extrernal LCD using VGA cable, everything is fine ( this way i write you now).

- It's sure that are the graphics card?
- definitely needs replacement?
- Who can i find an identical or compatible?

Yes, it is the faulty Nvidia card. You could try the oven repair method but I don't recommend it.

Search ebay for compatible AMD cards.

I have amilo xi 2428 and a a faulty Nvidia card.I will buy the ati hd2400 from ebay.
There is problem with the vista drivers or i must move to windows 7 32bit GR?
