    Lenovo 330s-15IKB freeze when install or on little load

    hello.
    Have this Lenovo 330s-15IKB that freeze when install or on little load. It doing it on battery and on AC. power phases working, no voltage fluctuating.

    any hint?

      Looks like faulty onboard ram.

          i suspect that or cold solder under cpu, but how to identify bad chip in memory

              Hi there,

              i have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05 that will freeze randomly.
              Sometimes it wont even post, sometimes i can use it for a couple seconds or minutes before it completely freezes.
              Sometimes the screen freezes, but still displays the last frame, sometimes (pretty rare) the screen goes black

              It does not matter what i do. Installing windows, starting Fedora or just sitting in the bios. After some time it will freeze.
              When the freeze occurs, the laptop draws a pretty constant wattage (it will just stay on the value that it draws, when it locks...

              Hi first question posting here, but no need to go easy on me!
              I have an HP EliteBook 840 G1 non touchscreen. The symptoms are that: Repairing or reinstalling windows freezes no matter how i try it. Live Ubuntu that works on any other computer also freezes while trying to load it. The RAM sticks and the harddrive work fine in other computers. I broke off the connector by accident, CN4750 and was using the laptop for a while with no coin battery. According to this schematic I found on here, which I THINK is the correct schematic, pins 2, 3, and 4 should short to ground, and they do....

              Hello guys,

              I have another Lenovo laptop, but this time high performance one, Extreme X1, 8th generation, I7 processor.
              The laptop behaves exactly the same like described on the Lenovo forum a few years back.
              Here is a link.

              At first there was a problem with loud FAN and after disassembly for cleaning, we noticed that battery is slightly swollen. Battery is replaced with a spare one after about a month. The CMOS battery is bad (0.5V), but is not replaced.

              Now laptop when manage to start works for a few minutes and totally freeze. After...
