    Razer RZ09-0410AE22 Dead After LCD Replacement

    Working on a Razer RZ09-0410AE22. The owner tried to replace the LCD on his own but forgot to disconnect the battery (). System now does not power on and shows no signs of life. I've removed the board and done some quick measurements on the top of the board showing steady 19v power. Photos are attached.

    Some guidance on further troubleshooting would be appreciated.

      Hi guys,

      I have a dead coffee machine, and it seems that the culprit (no 1, at least) is a dead trafo - primary coil seems to be blown open (type shown on the picture below).

      Now, I'm unable to find direct replacement anywhere on ebay or aliexpress, and all similar that I' was able to find are rated too low (<1A).

      If someone knows a shop to buy replacement (EU/CH), that would of course be my 1st option.
      My other ideas:
      - to buy 220/20Vac trafo with 30VA, and to "manually" create secondary 12V output just via resistor
      - to buy...

      hi sir, bro, i have problem my dell 7400 dead after replace thermalpaste, just blink yellow led/charging light when pwr button press n no taking current anymore, its hard to remove heatsing, just gently lift up then i put some solvent/thinner try again n wiggle it n can remove heatsing, thermal paste dry, when done assembly its dead, i do unplug battery first of course, whats wrong please help sir

      Hi,

      today I got Razer Blade 14, Ryzen 9 6900HX and RTX 3070Ti.

      Laptop was completely dead. I found shorted CPU VRM mosfet, shorted 19V mosfet and blown battery fuse.

      I replaced it all, but still on CPU coil where mosfet was shorted I got very low resistance, near 0 ohms. On other CPU coils I got around 3 ohms.

      Laptop now raises voltage on whole board, but still nothing comes on the screen. CPU gets 0.7V on all coils except the shorted one. CPU gets only slightly hot, below 40 C.

      I removed coil and injected 0.7V, it draw around...

      Dear Forum Readers!

      I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
      I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
      The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).

      I got a Chromebook with dead eMMC, so the logical thing to do would be to replace it.
      Its a SDIN8DE4-16G, anything i should know before replacing it with SDIN8DE4-32G?

      Is it possible to flash a full firmware using a CH341 to be able to boot into windows through USB? since that would be way cheaper, better and quicker.
      Or are there any other ways to run mrchromebox script without booting into ChromeOS?
