    Lenovo T470s Part Identification Please.

Hello, I have a burnt chip Lenovo T470s and I am unable to read what
    it says on the chip.

Can anyone help me out please with a photo of the chip
and maybe where to get one from, Thanks.

Hi, according to the schematic this part is T1, it is a TAIMAG IH-189-A component. You can buy it from

This chip can work even with the cover broken. Make sure you test everything before ordering the new one

Thank you both for your help much appreciated, I never realized until
looking at the picture of a new chip that this one has a cover on it.

This chip maybe ok after all, Thanks.

Hi, @Michael Farrey PU401 is a SY8386BRHC. You can also check PL401 to make sure it is not open.

@ JaroTech thank you so very much! will check pl401 for open. I guess the next thing I need to do is determine the orientation of the chip, which way it sits on the board. Every picture I could find of the board was low resolution. Thank you again!
