Hi, from the schematics you need to remove if they are there, R56, R57, R58, R59 and R60. With them removed, the onboard RAM will be disabled.

Would you be able to advise what do I need to do to disable faulty onboard memory on T490?

Solution is provided at post#2. There was no need to remove the onboard ram unless its shorted.
