Hi,
I'm working currently on my customer laptop HP Zbook Studio G5 (board DA0XW1MBAI1 intel i9-9th gen, nvidia P1000). The laptop had blown one of CPU's power mosfet MP86903-CGLT-Z and shorted Power management chip MP2949. After replacing both chips, laptop starts but with fan on full blast but no post. Then i replaced the PMC chip again (cause i thought it could be bad) but this time i used pmc chip from donor board (different HP model) this time laptop boots up but always stuck on System BIOS Update - Updating PEIA Region ~70%. I cleaned me region but no luck same problem with peia region.
Can someone could help me, i think the problem is the PMC chip? Does pmc chip need to be programmed if yes how can i do it and where i can get pmc fimware for that specific laptop, please.
