Re: HP Pavilion x360 - 13-s060sa HDD no detection

Is the drive being tested a known good drive?

Check all related cables and connector contacts.

For M.2 ssd - Check the connector and the PCIe capacitors that will be nearby the same connector. They should not be damaged or missing.

Is this a known good logic board or a spare purchased from Ebay or similar? That is, is it possible that some parts are missing from this logic board by other techs?

This one is good logic board from hp company. some days before it was detecting harddrive and running windows fine. but i by mistake removed
PR4413 (R010) Fuse type resistor, afterthat this problem occured
i put back that part again, but went something wrong for hdd detection

Unable to locate a schematic for this model. If only this current sense resistor was removed, consider to flux it well and reflow the part to see if this will fix the fault.

Yes cant find the schematic for this model. and also fails to find the faulty ic or something else, which stops to detect hdd.
i posted the board pics also
can u guess which component is faulty?

Post a clear pic of where the HDD Sata connects to the logic board. Perhaps some component is missing from the other rework.

The HDD cable often goes faulty. Have you ruled that out??

if the BIOS has not detected the HDD it is highly unlikely that you need the RST drivers.
If the HDD is recognized by the BIOS but does not appear as a drive for windows installation, you will have to manually load the driver at installation.
