double checked the diagram, looks like i connected data wires reversed. After correcting i still have the same problem.

          thats kind of vague.
if it has a valid VID/PID combination i wouldnt be concerned with serial numbers.
windoze really is not the tool for any kind of harware work.

so your grounding pins 2,5 and 6?
i dont know why the guy grounds the serial bus on 5 & 6 but i would try it grounded and unconnected
is your 3.3v good? a regulator needs a capacitor across it's output pins to stabilise the voltage

Tried with grounded 2, 5, 6 - same thing. Then tried without 5, finally without 6 - same.
On the memory board itself is a tiny capacitor should be alright.

Must be a reason for serial bus.

under linux it gets detected. But file system is fatx, only windows have tools made for it.

Looks like it, because there are fan made drivers for older removable memory units for Xbox360. I did image backup on linux. And then mounted it on windows with software made for fatx partitions, etc. And it worked. You are really right for saying that these types of troubleshooting is done under linux. .

memory mod for amd radeon r7 260x
                        by kokodin
Hello, for almost a year i been trying to make something that seems impossible, or my testing software is lying to me and it works only i can't see that.
I been trying to mod a memory on radeon hd7790 or 260x from 2 to 4 gb, but it doesn't seems to be as simple as i first thought.
In theory 2 workstation graphic cards using the same graphical processor have 4gb of memory firepro w4300 has 4 256x32b layout and W5100 has 8x 128x16b layout all use gddr5 memory and internals of the bioses seems to be very similar so i was trying to wing it , but so far it seems either tserver can't show...
