Bob and Brad QL/MINI massage gun not charging

My (legitimate) massage therapist gave this to me to try to fix last time I saw here. Complaint was that it simply wouldn't turn on anymore. B&B have a rediculous return policy where you have to make a 3 minute video showing what the problem is, etc. Rather than mess with that Dana let me take it to try to fix it.

Verified that it wouldn't turn on. Don't remember trying to charge it before I took it apart. Found that the motor turned freely. Pulled the battery connector apart to check the voltage and the battery voltage was good- fully charged in fact at 11.3 volts. Plugged battery back in with reversed polarity (connector doesn't prevent it well) and heard a "pop". Nothing was visibly blown so the noise may have been an electrical "snap". Unplugged battery, plugged it back in correctly and was then able to start the massage gun. Gun works perfectly, massages at all speeds, turns off automatically, etc.

However, the device does not charge. It does not detect the USB-C cable plugged into it no matter what cable I'm using or what charger I am using. Should show indication of charging but doesn't. Should not be able to turn massager on while charger is connected but I can indicating that the charger is not detected by the control board. I'm thinking that the large, two legged device in the last photo is a protection diode but I'd like to confirm that before I try to remove it from the board. One leg it connected directly to the positive of the battery and this is the first device that would have been hit with reversed polarity. I'm not getting anything back from the numbers on that device.

Any advice? I could probably run the battery through some sort of external charging port but there is literally no room in this case to add anything.

Connector in first picture is where the motor plugs in; second picture shows the edge connector that goes to the switch control board, the USB C jack and the battery connector and the third picture shows the device I have a question about. It's marked "T090P03l2P" and "FJC712".

The cryptic markings on the case led me to "CR Micro" which then revealed that the part number is CRDT080P03L2P, a silicon P-channel power MOSFET. Can't find any for sale so I will have to cross if I find it to be bad.

Checked and found that the power MOSFET was good. Did some more component research and found that the likely culprit is the IP2326 chip, in the circuit as a 5 volt boost charging module. I found a very similar circuit board on AliExpress where it boosts the 5 volts in to 12.6 volts for battery charging. I purchased that board and was going to somehow tag it onto the bad massage gun board using it to charge and the massage gun board to operate the motor.
I could still do that but the best fix would be to replace the chip on the bad board. I am experience in board level repair and soldering but don't have the equipment and skills to R&R a chip this size. If there is anybody on here who would like to take on this small job message me and we'll discuss price. I don't have a lot of $$ to throw at this but it looks like a pretty small job so let's talk. If you are interested I will get some raw chips, you don't have to do a transplant from the new board that is on it's way.

      Thanks-

      Val

Oops- sorry about soliciting a repair in the above post. I didn't realize that badcaps was also a repair place. Doesn't sound like they would take on this job anyway but their flat fee is more than the cost of a new massager. Do not message me with an offer to repair.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Mini pc board no charging, no lights.
          by Cryogen
          Hi

I have this mini pc board who refuses to charge and it is completely dead. No charging light would come on when plugged in.

The battery shows 11.95v from the 11.85v nominal

There are 4 mosfet (2 front and 2 back of the board) near the battery connector. only one gives 11.95v readings the other 3 show 0v.

Is the one reading 11.95v shorted? Or the one showing 0v next to the 11.95v readings that it is the culprit?

edit: the one with voltage is showing a short on gate, drain and source as well.

          Thanks

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
          by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
          by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault
