Hotpoint Freezer coming on then off

Hey all. We have this 14 year old freezer here, that's been working perfectly up until now.

No model number at the moment but I'll try get one.

Basically, it reaches the correct freezing temperature (from what I can tell), but then goes off - everything starts to warm up. Then it comes back on, and the cycle repeats itself.

It has power all the time while doing this, it just doesn't function properly.

Does this sound like something badcaps related/repairable?

    Cheers

      Might be dodgy therm.

Does it run excessively long to cool down the inside? It might be that the refrigerant has escaped somewhat, and the compressor is running until it overheats, shuts off, and cools down again... I think it could be the case, since it is 14 years old.

Hi, my TV image started showing those lines and the image faded away, but sound is still coming from it, what could be the cause and is it fixable? I thought it could be the tcon board but I red on the internet that it could be a failing panel

Satellite r945-p440 - Hard crash coming out of sleep

I do not have a schematic or board file

I usually let it go to sleep every time I use it because it is nearly always plugged in, with occasional shutdowns to reset things. Then it started to hard crash every time it tried to come out of sleep. The lights would come on for half a second but before anything shows on the screen they would all shut off and it would boot up as if I had shut it down completely (except that windows knows it didn't), and when it comes back on the fan ramps up to full and stays there perpetually...

Dell Latitude 5511 audible electrical noise
        by Asxetos21
I have a Dell Latitude 5511 laptop, and lately, a faint but clearly audible electrical (crackling) noise comes from the motherboard, similar to the random clicking coming from a mechanical hdd's heads moving inside it.
The laptop shows no signs of malfunction, and clearly this is electrical not mechanical, so my suspicion goes to a dodgy component in the power rails (a capacitor or a coil?). I fear this could develop into a serious damage.

Any advise on how to narrow it down?
        The schematic is available here:

Dell Optiplex 7040 MT (Service Tag S/N DSNJ992)

Built a PC on this used motherboard(DELL MIQ170R Swordfish DDR4 MT 14057-1). At first, when I plug in power cable(without even pushing start button) fans immediately start working at normal speed then after 4-5 seconds it starts working at full speed and stays that way until you manually turn it off by holding power button. While fans are working nothing shows up on screen.
Also tried turning it on without CPU and RAM. Acts same. As soon as power cable is plugged in fans working at normal speed then goes to full speed after a while......

Liebherr Fridge Freezer KGT 3456 not working
        by CG2
To be a bit more specific, I've got a 20-ish year old Liebherr that has just stopped working. This was quite a sophisticated beast for its time. It's a twin compressor model, and you set the desired temperatures of the fridge and freezer parts from a couple of little control panels above the door. It displays the actual temps on some eight segment displays there, flashing if it's working to get to where you want it. There's a control board with a microprocessor on it that read the temperature from a couple of sensors, switches the compressors on as necessary, and runs the display. There's also...
