    Nintendo Switch emmc failure?

    Hi folks...
whats wrong with a switch charging (with original charger) only at 15v 470 to 500 mA... at PC it´s loading with 4.9V at 0.45 to 0.47 mA. I checked for shorts at M92, BQ an max IC... nothing seems to be wrong there... tried to connect with tegraRCMGUI but the computer is only recognising the console if the EMMC disconneted... if the nand is connected the computer sees nothing...

    can u help me out?

there is nothing wrong with the charging as the original nintendo charges at 15v cause it used PD charging vs PC which only outputs 5v (standard charging). As far as the rcm mode, i believe you have a patched version of the switch.

Nintendo Switch Oled HEG-001: Second-Stage Boot Failure
        by privato89
        Hello everyone,

I'm facing an issue with a HEG-001 motherboard that is unable to complete the Second-Stage Boot. I'd like to start directly with my conclusion, which is the decision to replace the MAX77621AEWI chip, and understand if it could be a correct evaluation.

Before I dive into the process that led me to this decision, I want to mention that I have a fully equipped lab where I can perform any kind of tests.

        Let's begin:

Following some guides online, I tried to understand how the Boot phase of the Nintendo Switch works, and what are the...

        Nintendo Switch Origional 'EMMC corrupted'
        by Mikehandsdown
So, I've sent my Nintendo switch away for repair after it wouldn't switch on after leaving it for a few months. No life at all, not even a hit of it booting. I changed the battery but this did nothing.

It is an early version of the switch and had been running custom software for most of its life.

I've received feedback from the repair center, first they asked me if I was aware it was modified and then they followed up with 'unfortunately we cannot repair the original mainboard - emmc corrupt. We need to replace the mainboard - £250' I've gone back asking for more...

Nintendo Switch EMMC Shorted Ceramic Capacitor Repair
        by ReeceyBurger123
I had a switch come to me with no power. A short on the main power management Ic and the video output encoder. As I've repaired a few of these consoles with these two Ics faulty I swapped them expecting it to have made the fault go away. Unfortunately there was still a short circuit across these devices, turns out the EMMC board was the cause. I pulled the memory Ic off to still have a short…caused by a MLCC

I did a YouTube video showing this, I lost the cap in question it stuck to my iron I'll update soon with its value

No LCD image after connector replacement – lifted components and damaged resistor (Nintendo Switch Lite HDH-CPU-02)
        by Tomylee
        Hi everyone,

Sorry for the person who’s going to read all this !
I'm on a Nintendo Switch Lite, motherboard HDH-CPU-02.

While replacing the left joystick, I had to remove the motherboard to access the connector underneath. When I lifted the LCD connector latch, it broke (the plastic had become brittle over time), so I replaced the entire connector.

During the desoldering of the LCD connector using hot air, three small components located just below the connector (likely 0402 capacitors) came off and remained stuck to the bottom of the...
