post a new dump, before the new reading disconnect all batteries including the CMOS.

can you explain what you mean? I desoldered flash of the board before reading.

Ok so I replaced the bios region of the file (second half) with an "empty" one which I pulled from a DELL bios update package (used older version, same as mine).
Booted and password/computrace/express tag are STILL there!
I cannot find a second flash on the motherboard, I looked many times.
Do I also also have to clear ME region? I found the express tag in there but could ME also hold bios pass? Doesnt make sense

Ok I did it...
I didn't have to clear ME, I just removed a chunk of data from the EC region manually.
If anyone needs help with this model, reply here.

No ,It's a micro, if you want a new file you have to post your bios file here (even if the bios is broken) with the service tag number.

Hello,
I bought two 5080 micro secondhand and tried to update BIOS on one of them. Strange thing to me is that BIOS version was 0.13.24 which I cannot even find on dell website neither I can find asset tags on support page. Not sure if I was scammed and those are just faulty computers but they booted once I got them and one is still working fine. I tried to update to lowest possible BIOS as first step and it failed. Unfortunately after update only black screen, no BIOS, no POST. I didn't make a backup before of course.😶 So I dumped BIOS from working one but I'm getting error about different asset tag and I'm not able to change it in BIOS. Attached are two BIOS files, corrupted one and another working one from second system. Can anybody help me to fix corrupted BIOS? I tried HEX editor but it didn't work for me. Is it possible to create latest BIOS version with already set asset tag? Because I'm worried that if I try to update it again, it will fail. Or at least to have old BIOS working for faulty PC.

Unfortunately none of those two versions works. Still the same error. I tried to save the service tag in the BIOS but after it reboots it's the same again. Like BIOS won't remember service tag and PC's always in the same loop. Thanks a lot for your time and effort.

How you get option for change service tag ?
I try replace in bios part with dell update one, and get maintenence mode but no option for change service tag in my old 5070 this method works for changing service tag
