Translation (please use english) - Intel DH67CL motherboard. I updated the BIOS from version 0119 > 0160 > 0163 using F7. I tested it with an i7 3770, and it works! Upon first booting, after installing the i7 3770, the BIOS warned that the processor might not be supported, but Windows 10 booted and worked fine. Maybe someone will find my experience useful.

yo i was going crazy trying to find the version 132 for an straight hour for this mb, u literally saved my life cuz i bought the i7 3770 without making sure my bios version was compatible with 3rd gen, now i was able to use the new processor without any issue, thanks a lotRe: Intel DH67CL
For anyone interested do all the bios upgrades in recovery mode. ie with the bios link removed with a formatted fat32 usb memory stick, with the .bio file in the root directory of the usb memory stick. I did make the usb bootable with freedos (not sure if that was required but did it anyway).
Attached are the bios updated files.
DON'T UPGRADE STRAIGHT TO 0163 if your bios is lower than 0132.
If your bios is lower than 0132 update to 0132 then upgrade to the latest bios file.
They are all attached it took me a while finding them!
The offset for the mac address is 1000 and also 2000 if you made a backup of the failed bios flash ic when removed (always advisable). Mac address is 30 60 77 2F 5D 48 in the model above. Just noticed I missed two locations out so there is 4 appearances of the mac address in the bios!
Also if you search for your board model serial number in the bios it will start with BTCLxxxxxxxx where the xx represent alpha numeric code. This will be displayed in the bios.
Also my board was a very early board AAG10212-205 which you can also look in the bios to change it to your model to ensure some form of conformity. This model is a AAG10212-211 It appears as I recall at least twice.
Enjoy

If your purpose is for 3rd gen processor support, you can just update BIOS to 0163 (the latest version). But remember don't upgrade straight to 0163 if your current BIOS version is lower than 0132 (as suggested by cheeky2)Leave a comment:

I have successfully flash my Intel DH67CL BIOS using the file uploaded by OKRPKCOMP. I flash my BIOS using CH341 programmer and SOP8 clip. Motherboard then boots normally. For those who wonder, the BIOS version in this file is 0146.
After that, I update my BIOS again to 0163 using F7 Flash BIOS utility provided by the motherboard without problem.
Sorry for the bad English.
Thank you so much for the help provided in this thread.
A short story how I got into this thread: I got an Intel DH67CL motherboard and I have a 3rd gen processor, but it won't boot and I am sure I just need to update the BIOS so the motherboard can recognize the processor. I borrow a 2nd gen processor and update the BIOS straight to 0163 (I don't know the initial BIOS version though). After that, the motherboard just won't boot. Everytime I turned it on, I got no error beep codes, no display, only the processor fan spins. I tried everything including BIOS recovery option provided by Intel but no luck. Then I googled and found this thread, bought a CH341 programmer for approximately USD 5, flash the BIOS, and now my motherboard works.
There are many tutorials about flashing BIOS using a CH341 programmer and each tutorial can suggest a different thing and sometimes it can be confusing. For me, I remove everything from the motherboard (processor, memory, VGA card, CR2032 battery, keyboard, mouse, etc.) and then start flashing. I am using Ubuntu, so I use the flashrom command.

For all the above situations and more... please use the following dump, I made the same mistake as everybody else! Without any info about the dump I got my board back alive, is the 146 version, with ME CLEAN I guess. Enjoy !Attached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

Re: Intel DH67CL
Thanks for the file
Just tried updating from 076 to 163 bios and I should have updated to 132 first then 163. Only afterwards did I realise after that I should have done in that order! The attached bios is 160 version so just about to update it to the latest version.
Thanks all sorted out now

Re: Intel DH67CL
Its the ch341a software at fault, and using a clip is unreliable, desolder and use a socket if possible.Search these forums for different software to use.

Re: Intel DH67CL
thanks dude.
but it fails when verifying. (tried a few times and with other dumps)
after reading the chip, its mostly empty.
and also sometimes it fails on blank check, even tho i erased the chip.
it says "chip not null"
so do i have bad chip ?
and can i buy any chip, program it with this rom and solder it ?
thanks!Leave a comment:

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -
Long story short:
- dad converted Asus Chromebox CN62 into Windows compatible, with mrchromebox BIOS, years and years ago
- gave the computer to his son a couple years later
- son now decided to revert it to Chrome OS, to sell it as original (re-writing BIOS with the backup one created by his dad)
- too lazy to remove the board from the case, thought a voltage regulator was the BIOS chip (you know... it has 8 legs)
(seems like the story was not that short)
He used alligator clips to read the chip. No luck reading it. Removed chip and placed on a SOC-8... -

by cr4zychrissHello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR
