How are there no schematics or boardviews? Apple has to have these if they designed them. I am so curious how these are not available and the macbook stuff is all over the place. Why would they keep mac mini under lock down??

Of course they have them, they just don't want others to have them.
They are most likely not produced and tested in the same factories as MacBooks.
They try to keep iPhone/MacBooks schematics and boardviews from leaking as well, but with such volume in very large Chinese factories (where parts are produced, assembled and tested) it's probably harder. There's also less interest attached to Mac mini as they have lower value and volume.
Even with MacBooks some models never leaked, and it takes at least 6 months and often more after the release for them to leak. With the popularity of MacBook board repair they quickly get shared once they are leaked on the Internet so you see them everywhere.
