Hello everyone. I have a Z240 workstation, and after a power outage it had a bad PSU(already fixed it), and a corrupted BIOS. Initially I had 2.2 blink code, which indicated corrupt DXE region.
Did a full dump of the original firmware, replaced BIOS region with version N51 from HP website, and now the error code is 5.3(EC firmware unable to communicate with BIOS).
Flashing the original one as a sanity check also didn't revert the error code(still 5.3). The original firmware version is N01(supposedly it wasn't updated since the original owner bought it).
I'm wondering if anyone here has both BIOS and EC firmware of the same version, cause I can't find a separate EC firmware for N51, or alternatively - older N01 BIOS. Checked almost all dumps in other threads here on Badcaps, and all of them are N51
