Hi colleagues, today I'm here to discuss a topic. I'm hoping to see what you guys can recommend, or rather, how you would carry out this repair...
This is an Exo Smart XL4 laptop, with the XU133U REV 7.2 motherboard.
A customer brought it to me because it suddenly stopped recognizing his HDD. What happens is you turn on the computer and this screen appears:

The first thing I did was test the HDD on another machine, and obviously it worked perfectly. However, I tried other drives on the motherboard, and it still didn't recognize them.
Below are the series of tests I performed and the corresponding tests:
1. I was reading online that it's common for this device to not recognize certain drives, and that programming the BIOS and the ITE fixes the problem. I already tried this with a file I downloaded from a forum (it was the only one I found), and it didn't work; I still had the same error.
2. I measured the voltages on the SATA connector; I got the corresponding 5V power supply, and there were no short circuits.
3. I measured the data lines of the SATA connector with the device on with an oscilloscope, and as expected, I didn't get any readings on any of its four data pins. Just by pressing the Power button I get a VERY SMALL spike on the 4 pins, which I don't think is important since it could be due to the machine starting up itself.

4. I checked the integrity of the SATA connector and it is also correct.

5. And finally, I'll leave you with two photos of the BIOS so you can see some of its specifications:

I hope I haven't missed any important information. If you have any questions, just ask me and I'll let you know. First of all, thank you for your help. I suspect the problem is in the BIOS file. Therefore, I would be extremely grateful if you could help me find reliable files. I'm attaching the ones I extracted from the laptop when it arrived.
