HP Elite Mini 800 G9 BIOS Password Unlock

    Model: HSC-Q001Dm
    Serial: MXL4102Y9S
    Board: DAF96AMB8G0 REV G

BIOS and EC (I think) attached.

Thanks in advance, and if there are any guides into learning how to do this I would appreciate a link! I'd love to learn how to do these instead of coming on here to get the needed files.

Thank you. Before I try this, do I need to do anything on the EC chip? I saw in other threads something was required?

Do you mind sharing what hex was filled with FF to do this?

Thanks again, I'll give it a shot but just wanna confirm I don't need to flash EC before soldering it back on

No success, same thing, does anyone have any ideas? Could something else have been damaged or do the beeps align with BIOS issue?

I got the computer on, on initial boot there was a message about a mismatch between identities between BIOS and EC. I clicked ok since it said it would recover it and there was no other option. Now when I enter BIOS the password is still there. Are you positive EC does not need flash? what else was I supposed to do here if not?

Flashing now, thank you! Before I go turn on, anything other than F10 I need to press to get to mpm menu after the 3 initial reboots?

Hit F10 on the next boot and it said entering setup menu then rebooted
Hit F10 again and am still getting the password prompt

There is a high possibility that the password and information are in Super IO .

Is there a way to reprogram it? There is no recovery method just flashing BIOS/EC? Can someone else confirm if this is true?

No dice, same screen with the info being recovered from EC, reboots a few times, first boot into BIOS prompts a password
