HP Pavilion p6-2103et Intel Arc A750 GPU

    Hi everyone,

I own an HP Pavilion p6-2103et system and recently installed an Intel Arc A750 GPU. Unfortunately, the current BIOS (v7.16) doesn't recognize the card, and I'm unable to get any display signal. I've already updated to the latest BIOS from HP's official support site, but the issue persists.

I'm looking to modify the BIOS to support newer hardware, particularly the Arc A750 GPU. If anyone has experience with this or can provide a guide, tools, or a pre-modded BIOS, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

    System Details:
    • Motherboard: H_CUPERTINO2_H61_uATX 1.02 (Foxconn 2abf)
    • Serial Number: TRF2160NVF
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-2600
    • Power Supply: 700W
    • BIOS Type: UEFI

I understand the risks involved and will handle the process carefully. Any assistance or advice would mean a lot!

    Thank you in advance!

Post the bios in your machine via an SPI programmer.

      Thank you for your response!

I currently don't have an SPI programmer. Could you guide me on which specific SPI programmer would be compatible with my motherboard, and whether there's a step-by-step guide for reading and posting the BIOS content from the chip?

Additionally, are there any precautions I should take during this process to avoid damaging the BIOS chip or the board? If you have recommendations on reliable tools or tutorials, I'd appreciate it!

      Thanks again for your support!

          Makes no sense to put a 2 year-old mid-range graphics card in a 13 year-old system either.
