this is my first post at Badcaps and in general i am new to fixing electronics. I am looking forward to learn a bit more about diagnosing and repairing :-)
What I have around is a DELL OPTIPLEX 3060 Micro (USFF), which is not powering on, even not showing any signs of life (No amber / white LED).
I got a original 65W DELL PSU / Power brick (PA-12 / 074VT4) which hopefull should be the correct one. I could get another DELL PSU with the Partnumber 0G6J41 with the same 4.9mm DC Jack connector as the one I already have, but I dont think that would help (maybe... -
Hi All, I have a 9th Gen Dell Optiplex micro PC motherboard which doesn't power on. When I connect the motherboard with power adapter, it goes into safe mode and turns off. So from info I have gathered online, it looks like there is a short circuit on the motherboard. So can you guys help me with figuring out the issue?
I am new to electronics repair, so my queries could be naive but I am ready to learn.

dell optiplex micro 3060
The IPCFL-CG platform, after replacing the SR405 chipset, turns on and is fully operational only after resetting the bios battery.
If you turn it off, it blinks twice or once in orange and does not turn on, you need to reset the battery again..
Help me clear the region in the bios firmware, please.
