    How to find build id in dell bios dump ?

    Hello everyone, can anyone tell me how to find the "build id" through the HEX editor?

    I unpacked the .exe bios from the official Dell support site (using Dell Extract) and have two updates: Model=07A1 and 07CC. How can I find "07A1" or "07CC" in the bios dump using a HEX editor?

    Unfortunately, I can't find it. There are no such inscriptions on the motherboard either.

          Thank you very much, but I have a working bios dump. I'm interested in how to find the model in the HEX editor (which is in the .txt document unzipped by Dell Extractor). I had no trouble finding the service label, but not the model.

              This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

              I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

              I am hoping someone can kindly assist me. I am in need of an original BIOS dump file for a Dell G5 5587 laptop with the following specifications:

              Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot.
