Try this bios file and provide feedback.
The 128Mb EC file remains as is,
I hope you know how to use the BCU tool to re-insert your DMI data...

Can anyone help me unlock the attached files?

    Thanks!

I've looked around the chip and all is fine. I do have soldering experience so that shouldn't be an issue. I will desolder the chip again today and have a better look.

After desoldering I erased the chip and used the below file to flash it

    GD25B127D@SOP8-200_20230917_174205_unlocked.rar (7.64 MB, 25 views)

    In ASProgramer I've selected GD25Q127C

After resoldering the chip, the led error is gone, computer powers up, fans are spinning but no image is displayed.

Later edit: After leaving it on for a while, the image was displayed. Now bios is unlocked, the only error I am getting is related to HP Enpoint Security,

I have an HP 800 G6 DM, and I desoldered the EC chip from the motherboard (GigaDevice 25B127DSIG). Using NeoProgrammer, I dumped the ROM and then attempted to unlock it with RC Unlocker. However, after flashing the unlocked file back, the password was still present.

Because I am an idiot, I flashed an unlocked firmware from this page back to the chip and after doing so, my computer won't boot anymore - it shows an error pattern of 5 red blinks and 2 white blinks.

Even after restoring the original dump, the issue persists with the same 5 red and 2 white blinks.

I've attached both the original and unlocked files for reference.

    Thank you for your help!

Look around the bios chip there are very small components, do you accidentally move them ?

the issue is that. I'm facing a lot of issue with the micro clamp connector: the yellow led "RUN" on the usb key sometime disappear completely while I'm dumping. Probably I have to change clamp and use another method

BTW now I successfully installed the new unlocked version! hooray!!! The HP now give me the ability to enter into the BIOS and Security settings but I have a message at the beginning: "HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem"....even if I update the BIOS from the Windows itself (and all the HPs software) I'm not able to remove this message..I simply hit ok and then the boot continues. What can I do now? I THANK YOU !!!
Enable secure boot if its not already enabled.

    Code:
    [B]IC Not Responding[/B]
only once I got the message
File size larger than IC size
while using the ASprogrammer 2.1.0.13...I was able to read but not to write

Ok, now the programmer has arrived and I did probably some mistakes because now I see the message "HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem: There is a problem with the HP Endpoint Security Controller on the unit, please contact HP Inc to have the unit serviced"

    what can I do now?

    thanks

hi, I'm in a rabbit hole: I have the "OK" from the RCUnlocker_v_1_0 and so I loaded the 16MB "800G6_EC_RCunlocked_unlocked.BIN" inside the NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10. If I click "Detect" I only see:

    Code:
    Connecting Error CH341 (Not found)
    Connecting Error CH341 (Not found)
    Connecting Error CH341 (Not found)
    IC not responding
I'm running Windows 11 directly on top of the HP Elitedesk G6 800, do I have to desolder ?

    what can I do now?

    Thank you !!!!!

I think the BIOS may be corrupted. Either that or I killed the motherboard somehow. When I try to boot without the EC chip, I no longer get a beep code.
