You flash the bios first - very often revisions don't matter.

It should be ok as its the 4MB bios. The option is there though to upgrade the bios, with an 8MB chip to add support for ivy bridge

Today i have flashed the 4MB bios file to the version 1 mainboard
but no luck the welcome screen is freezing and there is no way to enter the BIOS settings.

we are 100% sure that the mainboard is good
because the owner update the bios with the bios upgrade from the Medion site
for the version 2 mainboard so the old data is lost when upgrading....

                      !! Update !!

got it working let me explain how i did it

I combined 2 Bin files worx+backup file 2MB witch i found on the harddrive on the pc where the updathad gone wrong

i copied the contens of the backup file in the Worx file on addres 00200000 to the end ran the checksum and flash it back on the Chip

and the MS7728 version 1 booted

as you can see on the picture the version is different its E7728MLN.104

now i need a newer version... for upgrading
