Hi fellow BIOS modders
I have a Dell all-in-one 2720 computer. The error is a bit weird, whatever you do it just beeps four times with no display on start up.
Inside the machine, it's a Pegatron IPPLP motherboard and I believe it uses an AMI BIOS, rather than a specific Dell BIOS.
I removed the BIOS chip (Winbond 25Q64) and was able to read the chip from my programmer. However, I do not have the original BIOS ROM file to compare it against.
I have attached a zipped file containing the Dell update utility with the latest BIOS (A13). This file can also be downloaded from Dell at
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...driverid=8d33g
If anyone can extract the ROM file (8MB) from the package I would be very interested . . . I have tried Dell PFS Extractor and some AMI BIOS extractors but got no joy, maybe I am doing something wrong.?
Much obliged, thank you in advance
