    Hello Together,

I need help removing bios password and absolute/computrace for OptiPlex 3080 Micro.

It's the first time I created a bios dump with a programmer, so I'm not quite sure if everything went well.

I've used a Raspberry Pi with flashrom software.

Can you please check if the dump is valid and do the necessary?

Thank you very much in advance.

I reused Rex98_8FC8_Patcher with the new bin file and I don't have any more errors. I would like your opinion on disabling the password before soldering the chip to my motherboard so that I don't have to do it multiple times to avoid damaging it. Has the password been deleted or is it still there? You will find the patched bin file attached.

I didn't quite understand, I have to choose the W25Q256 chip and untick what? I have attached to my photos many parameters that I can enter for the W25Q256 chip. I also spotted the chips in the second photo but I don't think they are useful. On the other hand, I don't know what values I need to modify to correctly read the data from the chip?
    Thank you for your help,

I am attaching to my message the other chips available on the software, but none are called 25Q256JVFQ. The closest one seems to be the W25Q256 but I don't know if it will work.

    Hello,
This is the first time I write on this forum because this time, I really need help. I got a DELL OptiPlex 3080 Micro but when I wanted to access the bios to install Debian 12, I realized that it was secured with a password. I tried everything I could. I used the passwords generated using the suffix code but it didn't work. I then purchased the EZP2023+ programmer and unsoldered the BIOS chip from the motherboard. I read it and then got a bin file. I watched many tutorials on YouTube to unlock it but it required either paid software or searching for hexadecimal values which were not present in my bin file. I also used Rex98_8FC8_Patcher but it didn't work and I'm attaching the screenshot of the error. So I would like to know if you could unlock the BIOS of my computer or explain to me how to proceed to unlock it? I am attaching to my message everything that seems useful to me for unlocking the bios.
    Thank you!
    Noa

And I don't know why I'm not allowed to add a bin file to my message so I put it for you on Google Drive: **********************
