Hi,
Recently I got an Epox EP-85 MVP3C-M board from scrap. After fixing the broken caps I powered it on without CPU and the jumpers set to 60Mhz FSB and 2x multiplier.
Sadly, Vcc3 was stuck at 3.54v regardless of jumpers. Vcc2 (Vi/o I think) was also the same voltage.
So, I've returned to the original configuration I got the board in - 100Mhz FSB and 4x multiplier. Voltages haven't changed at all.
What I've tried so far:
replace the original N-MOSFETs with beefier 60V ones for testing
Resolder the resistors near the Vcore Jumper block

Hi,
Is there anybody here who could tell me what are the two caps marked bellow? Or atleast send me a picture of those two caps from their board. Size wise I think those will be 2200uF10v, the same as in the CPU VRM, but not sure.... -
by bigbearkThis is a Socket AM2 Nvdia board with GeForce 6100 chipset.
The Onboard sound does not work if I use USB headphones but does work if I use the mini RCA jack. I did use the USB ports on the actual motherboard.
Made me wonder how USB talks to the audio chip in every other motherboard but not this one. I do find the audio a bit weak. I could replace the small caps near the audio port stack
but I don't expect it to fix the USB sound.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I could just add a PCI audio card but it's nice to have front-panel plug in sound. -

- Request: unlock BIOS admin password.
- Reason: 8FC8 code suffix - no public password generator. Full code: JT11VH3-8FC8
I've been searching on 8FC8 BIOS password unlock for a while, and looks like aside from paid service, there is a trick to modify the BIOS dump. However, the unlock script/zip file is long gone, and the instruction is clearly aimed for the more advanced folks.
If you can help providing the "master" password...9 Photos-

Ok... my first post here so go easy please.
I had an Epox 8RDA3+ mobo with an Athlon XP 2500+ in a computer that I've used just for basic net surfing, playing music, Excel, Word etc. It was never really a gaming PC so it's always been good enough which is why I've never really upgraded.
Anyway... late last year it started getting sudden restarts and BSOD's and random error messages (that I can remember).
I didn't know what the problem was so I did a bit of online research and figured it must have been the mobo or CPU or PSU. I didn't want to spend... - Loading...
