Dear Team
I'm replacing a hard drive on a Mac Mini A1347 (2014) (820-5509). I reinstalled it and got three beeps at startup.
I tried a PRAM reset, but it didn't go through the three beeps.
I removed the battery, no change.
I examined the logic board under a microscope, but I didn't see anything.
Can someone please tell me what to do or what to look for?
Thanks everyone.

hello, I encountered an issue with the mac mini a1347 mid 2011 with the motherboard model being 631-1740. I tried to upgrade its dual hdd setup with ssds and upgrade the ram to 16gb. I also took apart the whole thing to replace the thermal paste. after putting everything together, it refuses to power on. I have no idea what the issue is and no idea where to start. I did check the voltage at the motherboard connector and I do get 12 volts. what else should I check?12-15-2025, 09:56 PM

by jadziaI saw this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...1347-late-2012 but the board number is different.
Mine is 631-1993 2012 i5 2.5Ghz mac mini. I've searched a couple of days. I tried search back a few months ago. I can't seem to find the brd for that exact board. Any help is appreciated.-

by mrrubikHi all,
I have a very strange issue with a HP Elitedesk 800 G6 mini (35W) unit - I acquired it as a barebones unit (no CPU/RAM/SSD), when plugging in power without any of this, I receive the correct 3 long, 5 short beeps (CPU initialization error).
I acquired the correct CPU for this, an i5-10500T and 8GB of RAM, after installing it into the motherboard:- Plugging in power adapter does not trigger auto-initialize (quick fan spin/power on check), the AMBER LED below motherboard does blink to indicate power connected
- Pressing power button does not turn unit on, the white

by microitechHi everyone,
I've been troubleshooting a Mac Mini A1347 (820-5509) that came in for a simple thermal paste replacement, but it turned into a challenging repair. I've made some progress, but I'm stuck at a point and could really use some advice from those more experienced with this board
Worked fine for a week, then started powering on intermittently.
What I've done so far:
• Found PP3V3_G3H in short.
• Removed and replaced an AND gate (74LVC1G08) and an OR gate, which were causing issues on the line.
